The Kniterati’s

Today was a wonderful knitterly day! This morning I met up with some wonderful local knitters to drink tea, knit and talk all things yarny!

From left to right Areli aka KnittyPants, Kim and of course Heidi.

Check out A’s rocking socks, I adore her shoes!!! Kim was sporting a lovely hand knit scarf and socks while Heidi had on her yummy Noro scarf. What was I wearing???? NOTHING knit!!! Not a dang thing!! Think it was too early in the morning for me to think about what knit to wear.

I worked on my Junipers while sipping tea and maybe talking a little too much because I had to frog my second mitt and start over but it was worth it!

I should be done these fairly soon if I keep focused on my chart. I can’t wait to adorn them with the cutest little leather look buttons I found.

Until we meet again kniterati’s!!

Can anyone tell me why my sidebar is not where it should be????

Looks like you gals were having a great time – is that Tim Horton’s you’re drinking? :-)
Your sidebar might be thrown off because of some of your pictures being too large? That used to happen on wordpress if I posted a picture that was too wide. I don’t know what else that would cause it.

Oh, I wish I could have joined you. Looks like so much fun!!

    Love your mitts. Great colour.

Can’t wait to find out about Liam tomorrow morning!!

Looks like great fun! And that’s a really cool mitt…

Ok, my theory about the sidebar is either the too wide pictures (mentioned by someone else) or an unclosed formatting code in a recent post – looks like you centered something a few posts back and that didn’t get closed for some reason, thus centering everything sense (and wonking out the sidebar).

Cute mitts! The pattern is one I’d not seen. I’ve downloaded a copy and added it to my list of winter knitting projects. Sounds like you all had a fun time.
Can’t help you with the sidebar problem as I’m Typepad only gal.

The mitts are going to be great! That looks like a nice time with knitting friends; I wish I could’ve been there! We’ve had a couple of knitting get-togethers here, at a pub…with beer, nachos, etc. The knits never work out, but we have a good time!

    You wore NOTHING?
Didn’t you get some funny looks, wasn’t it cold? ;-)
Oooh, a pasture! How exciting. What animals will you run?
Sikkim looks good. Sikkim (sick ‘em) where I come from means set the dog(s) onto someone. If I make one, I’d have to call it something else…
