Drastic Change
Sometimes we all just need a little change whether its a new pair of shoes, a new colour nail polish or a new style of jacket to spice things up a bit. We get tired of the same old thing day in day out, that little something new gives you the boost you need.
I on the other hand was craving something more than a little change, I was ready for a Drastic Change.

SOOOOO I chopped all my hair off!! *grins*

I’ve been thinking about going short for a long time but was too chicken to do it. Then just last week a found a picture in a magazine that I really liked. After buying the magazine I went straight to my hair dresser and asked her what she though. She was all for it and couldn’t wait to take the scissors to my hair!
I’ve been long now since before I met Moose, about 10 years. It was at the point where it was just too much hair, always in the way, Moose was always lying or leaning on it, I got head aches when I put it up, and I was just ready to lighten the load.
There wasn’t even a flinch when she took the scissors to my pony tail, I was soooo ready to rid myself of the mass!

Here’s my pony that I hope to be donating, it has to be 10 inches or longer so I’m not sure where mine was layered if they would still take it but here’s hoping.

The inside was sooo dark its unbelievable!!

Forgot to add in my last post also that Hurricane Kyle came and went with only a bit of rain, we actually seem to be getting more rain today than we did during the “storm”

Kelly!
Okay, my first thought was how winter is coming and you’re going to freeze. *L* You’re even more adorable now.
What did Moose say when he saw it? o.0

You look so cute with short hair. But then you looked cute with long hair. But sometimes you really need a change.

Looks very chic!
Hopefully your ponytail will be put to good use regardless if layered or not. Looks like the minimum requirements length is: 20cm (8 inches).
There is a local address on this list.

Love the new haircut. It must feel so much healthier and lighter too. I remember the days when I used to have my hair that length and it was so easy to manage.

how cuuuute! i always seem to let my hair grow out and then chop it all off… i guess i like the drama. : ) i think the short hair will be fine for winter; just makes it easier to wear scarves!

Very flattering! This style is perfect for you and I’m sure you will enjoy it. You might spend a little more time styling it but less time in the shower washing it

For some reason, a whole bunch of your posts just came through on bloglines and I now realize that my comment was a bit out of date! But I still think it’s cool that we have the same haircut

Your hair looks so cute! Even if they can’t use it in their donations, you should still donate it because they can still sell it to make money to help pay for their donations.

Wow, am I ever behind the times or what??? Catching up with my blogs here.
YOU LOOK AMAZING!!! When I chopped my hair off, the salon took care of forwarding it to Locks of Love. Maybe check out their website?

Drastic but WOW! I liked how you looked with your hair long, but this is even better! Good that you are happy with the new cut, seems it was the right decision for you! Been there done that – but still not really found the cut I love and that goes well with my hair…
