Stash Bust
Knitting is sporadic to say the least at the moment, some day’s I just don’t have the energy and others its making the decision between knitting a few rows or working out…… working out is winning as I try to get back into shape.
I did however have a few free minutes yesterday after a big snowshoe trek with the family to knit a few rows.
I’m knitting along with the KrisKnits January KAL.
This is the first cloth in a monthly mystery dishcloth KAL. We receive a few rows here and there throughout the month and by months end have a completed cloth. I have a MOUND of dishcloth cotton in my stash and although a lot of it is variegated I’m going to try to make it work somehow and get 12 dishcloths out of it by the end of the KAL. There may also be a few variegated cloths knit up too as we go along. A few cloths tied up with a ribbon should be a nice Christmas gift for next year don’t you think?
I was able to complete clue 1 and 2 yesterday while Tad had a nap and I think I’ve figured out what it will be…
I should be able to finish the clues this month in between reading Shine Little Penguin and singing Five Little Ducks
Wish me luck!
A Tad update and the last of the packages are up next!

Just remember to take care of yourself, or you won’t be able to take of tadpole.

Working out over knitting, that could be hard to decided what to do first! Tadploe is getting so big!

p.s. Just checked out the KAL page and I’m in (ignore that it isn’t on my list of things to knit!) She has a great blog, thanks for pointing me that way. You find the best KALs!

I can see a little heart here! Kelli, you did it again: posting a Mystery KAL picture that makes me want to join instantly. I dream of prettier dishcloths than the bought ones, in colours that look good in our kitchen. I think I’ll definitely hop onto that wagon for daily lunchbreak knitting. Love krisnits blog! Her 2010 washcloth. All the cloths she designes are amazing, as well as how she presents them…
