Day 30 – Crafting Companion

Day 30 – Crafting Companion

A month of Craft Photo’s

Day 29  was your last FO and I know you all saw my last one so I opted out of day 29 and used the extra day.

This is one of my crafting companion’s.

Crafting, for me, happens at naptime or bed time. These are also the times that my crafting companion’s choose to sleep so I usually have two large lumps laying on the floor while I work.

It is a nice peaceful time!

So that’s the end of A Month of Craft Photo’s. It was fun and challenging at times. I’m glad I stuck it out but I’m also glad to be done, blogging every day is tiring!

That being said a picture and a few sentences is a nice way to blog the little things that don’t take up a full post. You can expect more like that in the future!

Can you believe we are now in the last month of winter…. roll on sunshine!!

Day 24 – Up Close

Day 24 – Up Close

A month of Craft Photos

I started this pair of socks a few days ago.

I wanted to try knitting socks two at a time to hopefully avoid my severe second sock syndrome.

I cast on with some scraps of worsted weight yarn, I didn’t want to throw myself under the bus for my first try and they are working up quickly.

I think I might be hooked on knitting two at a time.

I’ve just started the heels and at the rate they are knitting up I will have a pair of socks in no time!!

Day 20 – Finishing

Day 20 – Finishing

A Month Of Craft Photo`s

Blocking has become a family affair!

T enjoys putting the pins in with me, although her`s are usually a clump in one spot….

This is  blocking board Moose made for me. It`s nothing fancy, some code board, a wooden edge along the top and two eye hooks so that I can hang it from the ceiling.

I was a bit skeptical when he first showed me how it hung from the ceiling but it really does work.  I don`t have half the gym floor  propped up in the living room anymore, it saves space, is super light and gets the job done.

Love that Moose!
